Good location to get out for the day
Was able to dock 2 boats. Main floating dock metal dock slide is coming apart, also there were metal rods coming out from the side of the dock so if the boat were to get between the 2 Pillions would definitely put a hole thru your hull. Nice sitting area att main deck at the dock. 2 kitchens were as listed. Window AC units in living rooms worked, the other in king bed room did not. Was advertised with satellite/ cable, but only had local channel like you get with an antenna, advertised with internet, but No internet. Information online should be updated accordingly. Good location to drive out to the gulf and fish / scallop. Price was way to expensive for what you get. Would not stay here again.

First impression: the owner stopped caring what guests thought.
First, if we had been warned about the place before renting, we probably still would have rented. However, upon our arrival, there was no welcome to the house letter or anything. We actually had to search for the key. We contacted the host several times, but to no avail. The host did not contact us through our entire trip. While the house was decent enough (a little outdated but nothing terrible), we had to buy our own toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap, among other things. Again, this is okay but we definitely should have been warned. The first night, my fiancé and I had to completely spray our room for bugs after finding a giant roach and spider. I honestly question whether sheets were washed or bathrooms were cleaned. As a note, I would also add that the dock is in declining condition, making it very unsafe for guests. I understand that the house is up for sale, but that doesn’t mean it should not be kept up for incoming guests. The good thing about this house is the location (right next to a boat launch, close to scalloping waters), friendly neighbors, and good restaurants near by. Definitely visit Zig Zag Scallops while you’re there! We enjoyed our overall stay but felt the place lacked homeliness and cleanliness.
