Spacious Oceanfront Beach Cottage located on beautiful, historic and quaint AMELIA ISLAND that boasts one of the most scenic stretches of beach along the north end of Fernandina Beach. You will not only be able to see the ocean, but you can also see the Intracoastal Waterway. It is not uncommon to see all sorts of boats, ships and even submarines. Your oceanfront view will also allow you to see varied sea animals, such as Dolphins, Whales, Sea Turtles, etc. and Sand Dunes to the beach are “only 25 feet across a one-way lightly traveled sand road”.

This Beach Cottage is very comfortable and sleeps up to 23 people and has (8) Bedrooms and (5) Bathrooms. Sleeping accommodations can include (1) King Bedroom, (6) Queen Bedrooms, (1) Double Bedroom, (1) King Murphy Bed, (1) Double Murphy Bed, (1) Queen Sleeper Sofa, and (1) Twin Roll-a-Way Bed. Inn the Beginning is a typical older, rustic Florida Oceanfront Beach Cottage with lots of its own charm and personality that was built in 1956 and additions made in 1999 and it is remodeled through the years and periodically to make it more comfortable for our guests. The Beach Cottage is great for large Families or Groups, as well as Family Reunions, Weddings, Anniversaries, Retreats, Parties, Meetings and many other types of occasions or events.

There are many other Spacious Rooms and multiple Oceanfront Decks in this Beach Cottage. It includes a Great Room, Large Dining Area, (2) Kitchens, and (2) Laundry Rooms. It has Central Air Conditioning and Heating and some AC Window Units and individual Heaters.

This Beach cottage has many Ocean Front Decks, Screened-In Porch, Patio, (2) Outdoor Showers and Private Parking. There are additional amenities including Wi-Fi, Cable, and Flat Screen TVs in the Great Room and Dining Room Area.

There are many fun and exciting activities, events, adventures and relaxing things to do on Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island, such as Tours, Festivals, Biking, Horseback Riding, Fishing and Boating, Scuba Diving, Theaters, Golf, Tennis, Spas and many others for all ages, groups and individuals. Also, an Olympic-size Public Swimming Pool with Kiddie Pool and Pool-Lift for wheelchair-bound individuals is within walking distance or 2-minute drive from Inn the Beginning Oceanfront Beach Cottage.

In addition, to assist you with your needs or requests, we provide contact information for all the services you may need for the property throughout your visit. We also have Mr. Will, our Care Taker, whose living quarters are located on the property at Inn the Beginning Oceanfront Beach Cottage.

Because this Beach Cottage sleeps up to 23, it can be very affordable for an Oceanfront property that can accommodate this many people.

We are also pet-friendly. There is a limit of 2 pets and type and size of pets must be reported and approved by owners prior to visit, or guests can be asked to leave.
