Don’t let the exterior fool you! It is beautifully decorated with modern appliances throughout. Cabin is two bedrooms (sleeps six). One with queen size bed, one with twins and living room with queen sleeper. Bathroom with large full size soaking tub and shower. Fully equipped kitchen with flat top electric range, over range microwave, roomy refrigerator, ice maker, dishwasher, disposal, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and cooking utensils. Washer and dryer available on property. Relax on the (12x24 foot) river front porch. Outside fans & lights lighting up the porch and docks. Living room/kitchen feature cathedral ceilings. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms, living room and porch by river. Dinning room table seats six. Twin recliner, sleeper, 40' Flat Screen, Cable TV with Blu-ray DISC/ DVD player in the living room. Central air and heat through out the cabin. Cabin loaded with all modern day comforts. Wireless WiFi through out the house (bring all your gadgets). Bright House cable TV and FREE local/long distant phone service.

Our cabin is located directly on the crystal clear Weeki Wachee River at one of the widest parts of the river. It is across from the Weeki Wachee preserve where you will experience the wildlife and beauty of Florida’s Nature Coast. It’s Florida at its finest with our two new, gorgeous inviting docks (24x24 / 8x24) to view our animal neighbors: manatees, river otters, herons, ibis, and eagles frequent the river both at our docks and across the river on the Weeki Wachee Preserve. See the fish clear to the bottom and swim with the gentle manatees that make daily treks by our home. Only 20 minutes by boat to the Gulf of Mexico. Bring your boat, canoe, kayak or paddle board, or just rent them nearby. You may also want to visit the Weeki Wachee Springs State Waterpark with the world-famous LIVE MERMAID SHOW and Weeki Wachee Canoe rentals (15 minutes), the white sand beach at Pine Island on the Gulf (20 minutes), Rogers Park, 3 acre sandy beach on the Weeki Wachee has roped off swimming area, volley ball court, playground, boat ramp,and kayak ramp. (5 minutes). At the end of the day you can cook your own catch on the cabin gas grill and lounge on the two docks or dine at one of many great local restaurants. Within 20 minutes you can choose from two state parks equipped with pavilions, picnic benches, grills and fishing spots. Fishing boats for deep fishing in the Gulf are also available. Just an hour north of Tampa and St. Petersburg and minutes from Hernando Beach, restaurants, and shopping. Only two hours to Orlando theme parks (Sea World, Disney World, MGM & Universal Studios ). 30 minutes north to Homosassa Wildlife State Park or 20 minutes south to the BIRD SANCTUARY in Aripeka, Florida.
